Perkins from Lordsburg, NM to Benson, AZ

Captains log June 23, 2013 2125 hours.  I believe mutiny is afoot as the grumbling from the back of the RV has grown louder since I turned off the nice paved road and headed up Apache Pass.  Is this  condemnation of my driving or the wash board road ... we may never know.  I plan to quell this uprising with a spirited mile and a half walk in 100 degree weather to the ruins of Ft. Bowie.  Tomorrow is an early riser - off to the Sonora Desert Museum before sunrise.
